2014 ANNUAL CONFERENCE
A NOTE FROM FORMER RAM PRESIDENT SHELLEY SPIVACK:
As the immediate Past President of RAM, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who was able to make it to Petoskey for participating in our 30th Annual Conference and Meeting. We not only learned a great deal about childhood psychiatric disorders, the Baby Veronica case and the new Michigan Indian Family Preservation Act, the new Limited English Proficiency requirements, and case law updates, but also had a great time catching up with old friends and meeting new Referees.
At our Annual Membership meeting, the membership voted to accept the new Constitution and By-Laws (with one correction), heard updates from each of the committee chairs (including Ron Foon’s updates on a whole package of proposed child support and domestic relations legislation) and voted in new officers and board members for a two year term.
Congratulations to our New Officers:
To our New Board Members:
And to our Continuing Board Members:
Again, I want to thank the conference committee — Sahera Housey, Mark Sherbow, Lorie Savin, and Libby Blanchard — for all of the hard work they did throughout the year to make the conference a success.
